Vivo Z5x with punch-hole display to launch in India: Know here

Chinese tech giant Vivo is attempting to launch new Z-series smartphones in India soon.

Expected to start with the Z5x, will incorporate minimal effort include rich handsets that will be sold through online channels as it were.

To review, Vivo Z5x was as of late released in China and it offers a punch-hole design and triple rear cameras.

Vivo Z5x: Initially (Design and Display)

Vivo's first smartphone Z5x to brandish a punch-hole design. It offers an all-screen look with a modest cut-out on the upper left corner and a bottom base bezel.

The rear panel, which houses a triple-lens camera and a fingerprint sensor, displays an in-pattern gradient design.

As far as display, the smartphone gets a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

On the back, the Vivo Z5x offers a triple-lens camera setup including a 16MP (f/1.78) main sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. 

For selfie, a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper is settled in the display cut-out.

Vivo Z5x controlled by Snapdragon 710 chipset

The Vivo Z5x is fueled by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, matched with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of memory that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

Inside, it runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 and powered by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging.

In conclusion, the smartphone offers all the standard connectivity options and sensors including Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Vivo Z5x: Pricing and availability

Vivo has been releasing a lot of teasers on its social media, alluding to the fast-approaching launch of Z5x in India. Unfortunately, there's no official release course of events starting at now.

In any case, as per a 91Mobiles report, the device will land in India under Rs. 20,000 and it will go marked down by June-end or early-July.
